Well, I think, that it's time to tell you about my main project: a graphic novel, that I've been started to invent about five years ago .
It started as an amusement (some artworks with characters and small strips), but in one day I thought that I can do something bigger and more serious. So, I started to write the story. What's it about, I'll tell later But I think it's obviously that it will be a fantasy story with, you know, warriors, barbarians, beautiful ethnic women and northern landscapes.

   

Now I'm in process of writing the scenario and searching for a more suitable graphic style.
Previous phase was the concept art making: characters', stuff and environment design.

   

And now I'm going to do the storyboard and the pages themselves. Some of it will be published someday .

Last summer and autumn my friends-artists and I were travelling beyond the Arctic Circle. As a result of this travel we made a lot of different artworks from nature and some works based on our impressions.
       
I must say that Northen Ural is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, MAGNIFICENT AND BEAUTIFUL in the end of summer, that my little graphic works cannot discribe it. So, I think I must publish some photos,too. At first I must mention a lot of different and complicated color combinations, that is impossible to see in the midland. For example, red ground and yellow trees on it . It may sounds kinda fantastic, but when I took a walk in the september tundra in the blueberry bushes, I felt myself in a painted picture. Cause that leaves were yellow, red, blue, green, grey and violet at once. That's really beautiful.
  

Also, most of the beautiful and interesting things, plants, stones, textures are under your feet in the North. I tried to draw some of them, but, you know, gnat. It's everywhere and it's hungry .
        
In short, after that journey my artist friends and I have made an exhibition following the results of our trip. And I think, we did it well .
